Adam Mosley | piano

Doug Horn | alto sax

Jordan Schug | string bass

“Ramona Collins, Toledo-based vocalist, has a commanding stage presence and a soulful voice.  The penetrating appeal of Ramona’s performance derives in large measure of course, from her rich, nimble and evocative voice, but there’s more.  Her interpretations of familiar tunes convey wisdom, humor, and an almost ethereal goodwill that combines to create the impression of not just a great singer, but a remarkable person sharing music and something more.”

- Fritz Beyer, WGTE 91.3, Jazz Spectrum

Kerrytown Concert House is thrilled to welcome celebrated Toledo-born jazz vocalist Ramona Collins back to the House! A seasoned premier entertainer whose fun, sassy, sultry and swingin’ shows have made her an audience favorite wherever she performs, you won't want to miss the chance to hear her in our jazz listening room setting for a relaxing evening of tunes from the American Songbook and beyond!

Area favorite and Detroit’s nine-time award-winning swing band, Planet D Nonet, celebrates its new recording in tribute to the great maestro, Duke Ellington.

"One of the local scene's most immediately appealing groups, the

Planet D Nonet features a rollicking jump-band aesthetic, with a bold line-up headed by drummer RJ Spangler and trumpeter James O'Donnell and a repertoire that ranges from Ellington to Sun Ra. You get the power of a big band but the flexibility of a small group all in one swinging package."
