Artist's Statement:

"I have always believed that if you love something long enough, it will tell you its secrets. Since early childhood, I have loved the magic that comes from  putting line and color together. Now, at ninety-two I am doubly blessed to be chronologically gifted and thus able to share  some of those secrets I have picked up along the way."

Nathan Caplan at 92: Experiments, Explorations and Promise shows us that art is more of a state of mind than a matter of age. For Caplan, each canvas is a point of departure to discover new breakthroughs in the work he's produced. It's in these seeming contradictory areas that Caplan most fruitfully continues his "explorations and experiments."

Jazz standouts Anthony Stanco (trumpet), Marcus Elliot (saxophone), Marion Hayden (bass) & Tariq Gardner (drums) join acclaimed pianist & composer Jeff Haas for evening of Jeff’s original music: a hybrid blend of jazz, funk and middle eastern ethnic music.
