The exhibition, titled The Blink Art Exhibition, is featuring a group of artists selected from those that are featured in the 2017 Blink Art Resource Publication, which has been distributed nationally. The gallery is known in Cincinnati as the gallery in the sky, and will house this juried exhibition during the month of June.

Kyra Belan is also featured on the Blink Art a division of ADC website, showing her paintings from the American Beauty Series.

Recent activities:

 A prolific artist and wrier, Kyra Belan has exhibited her solo exhibition, Symbolic Magic, at the Sidney and Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) in Fort Myers in April 2017, a solo show at the Spectrum Miami 2016 during the Miami Art Week in December 2016, and in a group show, Now See Us, Hear Us, in February 2017 at the Sediment Gallery in Richmond VA. Also in February, Belan presented her panel, Social Issues and Women Artists, in New York, NY at the CAA International Conference 2017, and because of the success of this presentation, is currently planning a new panel for the CAA Conference in Los Angeles CA in 2018.

Bio Sketch:

 Dr. Kyra Belan, BFA, MFA, and Ed. D., has been featured in numerous publications, is a frequent presenter at art and art history conferences. She has exhibited for over three decades in numerous art galleries, centers and museums in Florida, the US and abroad, and her art can be found in public and private collections. Belan is the Otto M. Burkhardt Endowed Chair and emerita professor of art and art history at Broward College FL. She is currently working on her most recent book, Installation Art, for an international scholarly publisher, Mellen Press.
