Aquafest is a fun and family friendly event in beautiful downtown Lake Stevens, Washington that takes place the last full weekend every July. Aquafest is all about events. Events of all kinds on land and on the water. Kid's from all ages - 3 to 93 there is something for everyone.

July 29, 2022

12:00 to 5:00 PM: Dino Crew

We specialize in bringing "the dinosaur theme" to life! Between our car sized mechanical dinosaur suits to our lifelike puppets, you will experience the closest thing possible to a dinosaur encounter. Despite their ferocious looks and intimidating roars, our dinosaurs have super likable personalities, and they are great with people of all ages! This will be an experience of a lifetime.

6 to 6:45 PM: Children's Parade

This year's Theme is Costume Party!

7:00 to 8:00 PM: Rock Steady

Tribute to Bad Co. Snohomish County presents one of the top bands in the county Rock Steady; A Tribute to Bad Company Sing and dance along with them as they play all the Bad Company Hits you know and love

8:15 to 9:30 PM: Ron Stubbs Hypnotic Mayhem

And now Friday night's Headliner Ron Stubbs brings the Hypnotic Mayhem Tour to Lake Stevens 2022 Aquafest Festival.

If you have experienced his show; you know what to expect…if you haven't, well make sure you're at the Main Stage Friday night. Take all your preconceived notions of what a hypnosis show is supposed to be and toss them out the window. It's like nothing you have ever seen before…That's because it's much more than your typical hypnosis show…it's HYPNOTIC MAYHEM

11:00 to 12:00 PM: Lake Stevens Community Band

The Lake Stevens Community Band is a 45-piece horn band that was started in 2021. In there first year they performed at the Farmers Market, Light up Lake Stevens, Harvest Fest and Winter Fest. Their concerts are always free and family friendly. The band is under the direction of local conductor, Alan Wiseman and Executive Director, Kate MacKenzie

2:45 to 3:00 PM: Diaper Derby

Baby Crawl Aka Diaper Derby Contest Parent's ~ Start Your Engines

Your little one will go head-to-head with other crawlers as they race across the course to the finish line. What is baby crawl/Diaper Derby?

Baby crawling or commonly known as Diaper Derby races are held around the world. Babies race across the floor, crawling on their hands and knees, enticed by their parents or grandparents at the other end of the track, waving toys, cookies, mobile phones and whatever else they think could entice them to speed along the path.

3:00 to 4:00 PM: Cowboy Boogie Band

Get your party shoes and come on down! Top Local band playing Classic Rock, Country Rock, Blues, Pop and of course Country

4:00 to 4:30 PM: Pie Eating Contest

Limited to the first 8 people to sign up, per division!

There will be Three Divisions:
Youth 12-15 Years
Teen 16-18 Years
Adult 19 - older
$25 First Prize in Every Category

4:30 to 6:00 PM: Penny Stinkers

The Penny Stinkers began as a folksy "busking" band; however, through the last decade it has grown into a unique, high-energy party band that balances trips down memory lane with the latest in musical genres and hard-charging originals. How do you describe them? Good time music that gets the toes tapping.

6:00 to 6:30 PM: Taigon Taekwondo

Making a Difference in our community one Black Belt at a time as we strive for excellence in all areas of our lives following the Tenets of Taekwondo because enduring traits are needed by every generation. We are here for You!

6:30 to 8:00 PM: Sirens of the Woods

Sirens of the Wood is a World Music Rock Show that captivates music lovers of all demographics. Playing acoustic versions of classic rock hits done in their own amazing style they are selling out venues across Washington. Make no mistake…this band ROCKS.

8:30 to 10:00 PM: Randy Linder's Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival

Randy Linder and his band’s Tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival is second to none. They have entertained audiences from California to New York with the beloved hits that came from CCR between 1968 & 1972 with a few of John Fogerty’s solo hits tossed in for good measure. Las Vegas to Guam to Mexico for an audience of 14,000 CCR fans

11:00 to 11:30am: Nico Welsh

"Hailing from Seattle, Nicolai "Nico" Welsh, has shown his affinity for all things music since he was a toddler. Inspired early by the eclectic record collection of his father and mother’s love for the classics, Nico began classical piano training at the age of five and soon after, broadened his musical focus and performances to include vocals, guitar and learning the Hammond organ to emulate the sounds of greats such as Tom Petty, Elton John, Billy Joel and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Nico brings true charisma and personality to all of his performances."

12:00 to 1:00 PM: School Of Rock - Seattle1

1:00 to 1:30pm: Watermelon Eating Contest

Watermelon on a Hot Sunny Day! The object of the Watermelon Eating Contest is to eat a large wedge of watermelon down to the rind with your hands behind your back in 60 seconds or less.

1:30 to 2:30: The Royals

The Royals are a 6 piece modern ensemble from Sammamish, Washington that has been performing all over the Greater Seattle area since the members founded the band in the 8th grade!

Their repertoire spans across several genres like funk, soul, rock and jazz., so look out for hit classics from artists like Grover Washington Jr. and Chicago!
