The Lakewood Lions Renaissance Faire is a time to revel in the atmosphere of a 16th Century European Country Faire. Explore the bustling market place. Mingle and interact with hundreds of costumed characters, their endless merriment and mayhem. Try your hand at archery and see if you are a modern day Robin Hood. Witness the crowning of the Faire's King and Queen chosen from children ages 10 and under dressed in period garb.The Faire is best known for its awe-inspiring full contact armored jousting tournaments. Watch gallant Knights defend their honor until the last man is left standing! See World Champion Jouster, Shane Adams, host of History's Full Metal Jousting and his troupe The Knights of Valour. Cheer your favorite Knight to victory as he competes for thy Ladies honor in this thrilling full armored Joust.

September 15, 2012:
10:00am: Fair Opens to public

11:00am: Royal Procession (SCA, & Lions Club)

11:30am: Daughters of Sophia Dancers / Archery Competition / Knights in Battle

12:00pm: Jousting at list field / Daughters of Sophia Dancers at Gypsy wagon

1:00pm: Maskwork Story Telling (Zack)

1:30pm: Ed the Magician Magical Show

2:00pm: Dancers at Caravan Stage

2:30pm: Pokie Poke The Jongler

3:00pm: Crime & Punishment Show

4:00pm: Jousting at list field / Pokie Poke The Jongler Main Stage Area

5:00pm: Greenwolf Magic

6:00pm: Faire closes to the general public
Throughout the day there will be Archery competitions, Knights in hand to hand combat, Thrown weapons, and fencing on the lower field courtesie of the Society for Creative Anachronism


September 16, 2012:
10:00am: Fair Opens to public

12:00pm: Jousting at list field / Pokie Poke the Jongler main stage area

1:00pm: Ed the Magician Magic Show

1:30 Crime and Punishment Show

2:00 King and Queen Competition (for children 10 and under dressed in period garb

3:00 Jousting

3:30 Caravan Stage Daughters of Sophia dancers

4:00 Greenwolf Magic

5:00 Faire closes for the 2012 season
