Lansing Winterfest is a free, month-long celebration encouraging locals and visitors alike to come out and celebrate the winter season in Michigan’s Capital City while supporting local businesses. During the month of February, the community can head to Downtown Lansing each Saturday to enjoy free winter activities, themed events, local food, shopping and more.

Downtown Lansing will transform into a winter playland. The free event will feature fun ice sculptures with live sculpting from local artists and the return of the Hungry Hungry Hippo human tournament – a fun interactive team game hosted on the city’s winter skating rink at Reutter Park. Other activities include s’mores and hot cocoa stations, winter games, family activities with local vendors, live music and more!

The 2024 Lansing Winterfest schedule is as follows:

Feb. 3, 2024 -11:00am to 3:00pm:  Winterfest Block Party at Downtown Lansing

Feb. 10, 2024 - Brrr Crawl 

The Lansing Winterfest BrrrCrawl is back! Grab your friends and join us to support our local breweries, distilleries and bars and celebrate the winter season in Michigan’s Downtown.

Each Bar Crawler will receive a punch card and once DLI marks off all 4 bars, you can submit your completed punch card in for a chance to win exciting prizes!

BrrrCrawl Schedule:

The Exchange: 4 p.m.

American Fifth: 5:30 p.m.

Michigrain: 7 p.m.

Lansing Brewing Co.: 8:30 p.m.

Feb. 17, 2024 - 4:00pm to 8:00pm:  Riverfront Party with Lansing Shuffle at Lansing Shuffle

As part of Lansing Winterfest, Downtown Lansing will host a Riverfront Party with Lansing Shuffle, Join us at Lansing Shuffle for live music, a curling court, games, drink specials and good times with your friends in Downtown Lansing. Feb. 24, 2024 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm: Fire and Ice Soiree at Downtown Lansing

As part of Lansing Winterfest, Downtown Lansing will host a Fire & Ice Soiree,Join us for music with Metro Melik 517, a Silent Disco party, ice games, ice sculptures, drink specials and good times with your friends in Downtown Lansing.
