UNCW senior Katie Lanz opened her final season with the Seahawks with 19 kills in a narrow 3-1 (23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 29-31) loss to visiting Virginia Tech on Friday at the Seahawk Volleyball Classic at Hanover Hall.
