One of the most important meetings of the year, the annual Program Planning Meeting, is scheduled Saturday, February 18, 1:30 to 3:30 PM.  This is your chance to help set our education and advocacy priorities for Berkeley-Albany-Emeryville and the California League.  Come join us on Zoom to make these decisions. Monday, 7:30 - 9 PM, February 13, The Environmental Concerns Speaker will be Jill Ryan of FRESHWATER FUTURE. Jill has been Executive Director of Freshwater Future since 2000. She will speak to us about climate change adaptations to freshwater systems, mostly involving the Great Lakes in Michigan. Get the link!

The League of Women Voters of California’s Climate Interest Group organizes educational events and workshops about the different challenges and impacts caused by anthropogenic climate change. They also review dozens of climate action plans and processes to reduce emissions.
