You are cordially invited to join us for our next Mar Monte Monday on Monday, August 21st at 6pm in celebration of the 103rd anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted American women the right to vote. Planned Parenthood Mar Monte will host a discussion with the former president and long-standing member of the League of Women Voters of the Eden Area, Penny Peck. The focus will be on the Women’s Suffrage movement, specifically highlighting the strategies and tactics employed by its leaders. Participants will explore ways to incorporate these tools and actions into ongoing battles for voting and reproductive rights.RSVP TODAY

Email to join us on Sunday, September 10. Come and represent the League for one or two hours registering voters and explaining why we love the League. Enjoy the parade and chat with some of the hundreds of people who flock to the stroll. The frequent praise of the League and the interesting questions, keep you engaged and busy. We’ll be among the vendors, entertainers, food booths, and government & nonprofit agencies whose booths line the Stroll. If you are able to help out, please email [email protected].
