Come this Friday in the spirit of community building on this day of remembrance and learn what the League of Women Voters has done with its partners to defend our democracy, as we rededicate ourselves to the hard work ahead and start early to prepare for 2024. This event will feature LWVC President Carol Moon Goldberg and others, including LWVUS CEO Virginia Kase Solomón. Our LWVUS CEO has become a tireless leader on the national stage fighting for our democratic freedoms using advocacy, coalition building, and more. Register!

The midterm election has come and gone, but voting rights are still top of mind, especially for pro-democracy groups like the League. Even though not everyone thinks about voting rights in the same terms, it’s safe to guess that as voters went to cast their ballots, many wondered: “Will my vote count?” or “Will my voice make a difference?” In asking those questions, people across the political spectrum were all thinking about the same thing: voting rights! Read more
