Vacancy On AC Transit Watch-Dog Committee

Applications are currently being accepted to fill one vacancy on the AC Transit’s Parcel Tax Fiscal Oversight Committee. This is a non-paid, volunteer position with a term of office of three years and is subject to reappointment by the Board. Completed applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, July 15th. Please consult the Recruitment Notice and Application for details and instructions on the website. 

Albany's Project Hope

The Albany City Council meeting on June 21st featured a presentation about the Berkeley Food and Housing Project (BF&HP) and Albany Project Hope. Their mission is to ease and end the crisis of homelessness in communities by providing emergency food and shelter, transitional housing, rapid rehousing, and permanent supportive housing with services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
