The Environmental Working Group
Join us Tuesday May 8th from 7:30 to 9 PM via ZOOM to learn about the Environmental Working Group and their current work in environmental health.

Our speaker will be Kaley Beins, an associate member of the Society of Toxicology who was a Fulbright Research Fellow. Join us!

The Social Justice Collaborative
The Berkeley City Council meeting, which took place on April 11, 2023, focused mainly on housing issues with many public comments. In addition, The Social Justice Collaborative’s (SJC) appealed for funding so they can hire two full-time social workers. The SJC, founded in 2012, offers legal aid and assistance to low-income immigrants, asylum seekers, unaccompanied children, young dreamers, and displaced families in Northern California for little to no cost. Native Gardens and Green Homes
Register for the 19th Annual Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour and Green Home Features Showcase happening on May 6th and May 7th from 10 AM to 5 PM! Registrants will learn how design a native plant garden for color and interest throughout the year, garden for wildlife, lower their water bills, and protect their family’s health and the environment by gardening without pesticides.
