Juneteenth in Berkeley is held annually on Father’s Day on south Berkeley’s five-block Alcatraz-Adeline corridor. A full day of festivities celebrating African American music, culture, traditions, and Black History. It’s a huge family gathering with booths of food, entertainment, and art. Your League will be there, as requested, to conduct voter registration and provide election information. Join us June 16th at noon! The keynote address will be given by Tommy Gong, the new chief deputy county clerk-recorder for Contra Costa County. As an election official in San Luis Obispo County, he was among the many election officials across the nation, who were attacked after the 2020 election for holding to the legal election rules. Register here!
