For 7 workshops, 10 caucuses, 7 guest speakers, program adoption, and the election of state league officers and directors, 55 leagues from all over the state came together May 19-21 in San Francisco for the LWVC convention. The workshops, caucuses, and guest speakers touched on topics ranging from the League’s new healthcare position to redistricting to election turnout among young people of color. See more!

JUNETEENTH 2023 REPORT

Hundreds of local residents and dozens of community-based organizations celebrated Juneteenth on Father’s Day this year on a beautiful, breezy day that felt to be one of the loveliest so far this year. A special thank you goes out to League leaders, volunteers, Albany Youth Council and Meyer Sound staff members who turned out to support community outreach and voter registration efforts in recognition of the national holiday. See more!
