Arts and Crafts Fair

The juried Arts and Crafts Fair features more than 80 local and regional artists displaying unique handmade crafts, collectibles and original works of art. Vendors showcase their talents for the public to view and purchase, including:

- Handmade Jewelry
– Accessories and Clothing
– Natural Soaps and Beauty Products
– Unique Gifts
– Home Decor
– and much more!


Oktoberfest wouldn’t be complete without the excitement and entertainment in the Biergarten. It’s the place to hang out for German food, music, dancing and a lot of crazy fun!

Take a spin at the carnival! Snag a bird’s eye view of downtown Lee’s Summit atop the ferris wheel, cruise around the merry-go-round and embrace your adventurous side on the cliffhanger.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket booth and cost $1 each, 40 for $35 or 80 for $60. Each ride takes 3-4 tickets.

While the festival is only open Friday and Saturday, the carnival remains open from noon-4 p.m. Sunday for wristband day–$25 per person, all you can ride!

Home Brew Competition

Grains and TapsThe Lee’s Summit Chamber and Grains and Taps are pleased to partner together in presenting the 2019 Oktoberfest People’s Choice Home Brew Competition. Oktoberfest attendees will have the opportunity to partake in a tasting event at Oktoberfest from noon–3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019 in the Biergarten while participating home brewers serve up samples of their best brews!

Kids Street

Take your kiddos for a stroll down Kids Street for crafts, games, pony rides, mini golf, a petting zoo and a whole lot more. Also back by popular demand is the famous Rootbiergarten. Kids 12 and under can enjoy their own bubbly beverage at no cost, thanks to our sponsor Cross Creek at Lee’s Summit.

Live Entertainment

With two stages of live entertainment and the sounds of oompah in the Biergarten, you’re sure to find a tune you like.
