December 18, 2014From: Madeira City Schools
At their meeting on December 15, 2014, the Madeira Board of Education accepted the resignation of MHS Principal Tom Olson for the purpose of retirement effective at the end of this school year. Tom has had a distinguished career in service to students for many years. We greatly appreciate his tireless commitment to our students and outstanding leadership at Madeira High School. Mr. Olson will be working hard through the end of this school year to ensure a smooth transition for our students, parents, and staff.
The process to identify the next MHS principal will occur over the next several months. We have put together a timeline that includes staff, student, and parent input as we seek our next Madeira High School Principal. We will be asking for input from these groups as to the qualities we should be looking for in a new principal.
Please save the following parent focus group dates:
January 21, 2015 @9:30 am (MHS PTO Mtg.)
January 22, 2015 @7:00 pm in Perin Learning Commons
Both sessions will be similar so please attend the focus group that fits your schedule. If you are unable to attend but would like to provide feedback, please click here to take the online survey. The survey will remain open for feedback until January 23, 2015.
Thank you again for partnering with us and a special thank you and congratulations to Mr. Olson.
