There's lots of scary content and spooky, family-friendly films available on hoopla and Kanopy that you can access right now with your library card. You can stream so fast, it's almost like magic!

Let's Learn Krita for Digital Art
On November 4, discover Krita, a free sketching and painting program designed for digital artists that's one of the most powerful opensource art programs out there. Associate Librarian Luckas will explain in detail what you can do with Krita’s tools and shortcuts to make amazing digital art. Ages 16 & up. Registration is required.
Yoga for Tweens
Tweens ages 9-12 are welcome to explore yoga and mindfulness in a supportive community setting with Ms. Danielle! These weekly yoga sessions will focus on confidence building, strength and stretching, and techniques to calm and relax. Perfect for new students and those who have taken yoga classes before. Space is limited; in-person sign-up begins in KidSpace at 5:15 PM.
Mayor's Education Fair
Looking to further your education? Here’s your chance to speak with local college representatives. On Thursday, November 10, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, you can come ask questions and discover what opportunities are available for you. The Mayor's Education Fair will take place in the Urban Living Room here at the library. Several universities will be attending!
Green Living Lab: Cleaning
Make simple, effective, and natural products to suit your lifestyle! On November 1, join Sustainability Supervisor Sarah Burke as she presents on the environmental and financial benefits of making homemade, natural household products. After her presentation, learn to make laundry detergent and more! This program is available to City of West Palm Beach residents only. Registration required.
Did You Know?
During November's National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), the library will hold several prep workshops hosted by students and faculty from Florida Atlantic University. The Florida Room on the fourth floor will also be available every day in November as a quiet writing center for aspiring authors to reach their word goals! No registration required.
