Maryland Freedom of Republican Women - Tea Time

Clubs and Organizations

May 20, 2022

Better to be enjoying tea in A/C than sweating in the high 90s outside.

Guest speaker
Terris Todd
The Heritage Foundation

Terris Todd is program manager for Civil Society, a unit of the Edwin J. Feulner Institute, dedicated to restoring confidence in America's founding principles -- founding principles that created the strongest, most free, and most prosperous country in the history of the world.

Prior to joining The Heritage Foundation, Terris served the Trump Administration as Executive Director of the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans. While there, he focused on elevating the challenges faced by African American students and leveraging resources to help ensure students are prepared for college and productive careers.

Terris earlier served as Michigan Republican Party Vice-Chair from 2017 to 2020.  In 2015, he served as Director of District Relations in the Michigan House of Representatives (District 62) and, later the same year, as Director of Education and Children Services for Community Action of South-Central Michigan until May 2020.

He continues to provide expertise to the Michigan Conservative Energy Forum and the Frederick Douglass Foundation of Michigan as a board member.
