Jerry Wainwright, who engineered UNCW's run to its first Colonial Athletic Association men's basketball championship in 2000 and its first NCAA Tournament victory in 2002, recalled those milestone victories and told members of the 2022-23 team that "greatness is found in your daily routine and you've got to pay your dues"
