Statewide, Congressional, State Legislative and several local races will be represented at the MDGOP booth at the MD State Fair. DIRECT LINE W/ROMAN BUHLER - "KEEP NINE" - COALITION TO PRESERVE AN INDEPENDENT U.S. SUPREME COURT
Wednesday, August 17 - 7:30pm
Roman will discuss the "Keep Nine" Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The Amendment would set the current number of nine Supreme Court Justices in the Constitution and prohibit a future Congress and President from altering the size of the U.S. Supreme Court. By doing so it would preserve the independence of the Supreme Court from any effort by a future Congress and President to manipulate the size of the Court for political advantage.  The Amendment would be the shortest Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Dr. Nice retired after 43 years of government service, including 30 years of distinguished service with the US Public Health Service and Coast Guard, 29 years at the National Institutes of Health, and 5 years at the Food and Drug Administration.  During his uniformed service, Dr. Nice served as Operations Officer and Pharmacist for the original, prototype Disaster Medical Assistance Team (DMAT).  He currently is self-employed as a consultant and President of Nice Breastfeeding LLC and President of Dr. Nice Products LLC.

Highlandtown neighbors receive long-lost 2020 ballots

“The Postal Service discovered a tray of undelivered mail in a Baltimore facility last Friday, Aug. 5. The tray’s mail was from year 2020 and contained what appeared to be 26 blank ballots mailed from the Baltimore City Board of Election to addresses with a Baltimore ZIP Code,” wrote Tom Ouellette, a spokesperson for the Postal Service.
