Melting Pot, the nation’s premier fondue restaurant, is inviting guests to relax amid a fully refreshed restaurant with a modern look and feel at its Boise location at 200 N 6th Street. Celebrating 20 years in the community – and originally the home to Boise’s first ever Central Fire Station – the Melting Pot transformation is part of Melting Pot Evolution, a company-wide initiative which is aimed at enhancing the dining atmosphere and experience in all its restaurants.

"We're thrilled to introduce these changes at our restaurant while keeping the historic integrity of the space with pieces from Boise’s original firehouse,” said Kim Silva, who began her Melting Pot journey as a server, bartender, and manager before owning Melting Pot Boise with husband, Hollis Silva. “It's all about creating a space where our community and guests feel truly welcome. With a new open floor plan and patio, along with fresh design touches, we’re making a fondue dining experience even more enjoyable without losing the warm hospitality we’re known for.”

Boise’s redesign features an expanded bar area, where guests can enjoy a variety of high-level cocktails, and a vibrant dining room designed to enhance the unique fondue experience. The patio was completely remodeled, adding 75 seats, a fire pit, and a lounge seating area – perfect for outdoor dining. The restaurant has all-new finishes, including fabrics, paint, artwork, and lighting to add a warm, welcoming touch that encourages guests to gather and create memorable dining moments. The party room was also improved with movable table seating to make it more accommodating for different party sizes.

Melting Pot has long been Boise’s go-to spot for practicing the Art of Fondue since 2004 when they transformed Boise’s first firehouse into an interactive dining experience. Today, the restaurant still features many of the original pieces from the firehouse including the firepole, brick arches and the original fire bell.  Now, with the refreshed design, guests can dive into their beloved fondue – while enjoying the historical aspects of the restaurant – in an atmosphere that’s as cozy as it is charming.

“We are excited to see franchisees like Kim and Hollis build an amazing dining experience within their community,” said CEO Bob Johnston. “Melting Pot has historically been a place to build special moment memories, and now, with our updated experience, it is for the frequent diner looking for an incredible, consistent perfect night out.”
