WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Reps. Grace Meng (D-NY), Kathy Manning (D-NC), Chris Smith (R-NJ), Ted Lieu (D-CA), Marc Veasey (D-TX), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Kay Granger (R-TX), and Randy Weber (R-TX), co-Chairs of the House Bipartisan Taskforce for Combatting Antisemitism, released the following statement condemning recent antisemitic rhetoric by public figures.

“We unequivocally condemn despicable antisemitic rhetoric praising Hitler and spreading Holocaust denial. The dangerous elevation of hate and antisemitism by public figures emboldens extremists and threatens to incite violence against Jewish people. As co-chairs of the House Bipartisan Taskforce for Combatting Antisemitism, we reject this hatred and condemn antisemitism in all of its forms.”
