Have you ever wandered the halls of the Mesquite Arts Center and looked at the glass of the courtyard and noticed that there are names etched into the glass?  The words “Jean & Ralph Weisenbaker Courtyard” are a reminder of why organizations and artists have a home in Mesquite, Texas.  

In 1990, Jean and Ralph Weisenbaker campaigned to raise funds for the courtyard of the Mesquite Arts Center.  The pair of patrons' mission was to improve the community with their time, money, and voice.  

TODAY, we utilize this space for the Mesquite Arts Center’s monthly spring and summer concerts called “Courtyard Concert Series”.  Created to have the community enjoy the space that the Weisenbakers once raised funds for.  This concert series brings the community together to learn about NEW musical acts from the North Texas region.  If you want to be a patron just like the Weisenbakers were, consider supporting music in the courtyard this North Texas Giving Day!  Remember you can donate NOW through Sept 22.

This year's goal is to get 200 people to contribute $25 to the campaign from NOW through September 22. Click the button below to contribute to the mission.
