Few have done serial entrepreneurship like Karen Goldberg, who has created myriad local brick-and-mortar businesses over the years. Her latest is The Warehouse, a consignment exchange that buys and sells gently used & unique furniture, art, and homewares at warehouse prices. The Warehouse will host our June 14th After Hours in its backyard, and Goldberg's renowned Tamalpie will curate the nibbles. Arts Commission’s All-Female Comedy in the Plaza Trio Is Ready to Make You LOL – 6/16
The ladies are taking over the Arts Commission’s vaunted Comedy in the Plaza in 2022. For the first time in its history, Mill Valley’s annual evening of hilarity on the plaza features a trio of amazing female comics. The free event is set for Thursday, June 16 at 6pm. The performers are Jann KaramMaureen Langan and Maggie MayeFULL STORY.

Eddy Owens, 28, Wins Dipsea Race – Youngest Since 1966
One year after making his Dipsea Race debut, Eddie Owens, a San Francisco resident who grew up in Brooklyn, covered the 7.5-mile foot race from downtown Mill Valley to Stinson Beach in 48 minutes and 35 seconds. In doing so, Owens became the first Dipsea champion in their 20s since 25-year-old Carl Jensen won it in 1966. FULL STORY.

MarinArts' ‘Art of Collecting,’ a Live Stream w/ MV Art Dealers Association – 6/16, 12pm
The event is the first from MarinArts Presents, a series of arts streams that underscore their seasonal fundraising. At “The Art of Collecting,” gallery owners will discuss strategies, best practices, and joys of purchasing art. The live broadcast airs out of Seager Gray Gallery at 12–12:45pm. FULL STORY.

Sunnyside to Close June 14-15 For Re-Paving – Free Parking
In an effort to support downtown businesses, there will be free parking during the roadway closures along East Blithedale (Throckmorton to Forrest St) and at the Depot Plaza parking lot. The City is providing FREE PARKING on Blithedale and in the Depot Plaza parking lot in an effort to lessen the impact. FULL STORY.
