Get Ready for a Blockbuster Memorial Day Weekend!!

MV Memorial Day Parade Is Almost Here – And the Chamber's Grateful to Be the Grand Marshall!
As usual, the parade kicks off with the special Veterans Ceremony, which includes the student K-8 essay contest, “What does Memorial Day mean to me?” starting at 9:45 at Lytton Square followed by the parade from Old Mill School at 10:30 before heading down Miller Avenue. Full Story.

MV Volunteer Firefighters’ Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast Returns on May 29, 7-11am! Get In on the Blockbuster Weekend Fun!
For more than a decade, Marina O’Neill has honored the adventurous spirit of her grandmother, Freda Marie Been, naming the flagship boat of her Sausalito-based SF Bay Adventures. Full Story.

MV Historical Society Takes a Trip Through Mill Valley’s Era of Being a Rock ‘n Roll Mecca – May 28
The 44th annual MVHS Walk Into History will be on Sunday, May 28. This year’s event celebrates the “Rock ’n Roll mecca” that was Mill Valley in the 1960s-1980s, with music halls and stores frequented by both homegrown and world-famous musicians and bands. Full Story.

Kiddo! Carnival Returns May 26-29, Caps Weekend With Post-Parade Concert
“Join Kiddo! for a real old fashioned carnival at the Mill Valley Middle School,” says Bill Lampl, Kiddo! executive director. “There will be rides for all ages, plus food and games. Advance discounted ticket vouchers are $30.” Full Story.

The Mill Valley Chamber‘s Mill Valley Music Festival gathered upwards of 10,000 people across two amazing days to ingest arts and culture and community!
