A Blockbuster Memorial Day Weekend Returns – May 27-30

The Mill Valley Memorial Day Parade will be ‘LIVE’ on May 30th this year. The parade kicks off with the special Veterans Ceremony, which includes the student K-8 essay contest, “What does Memorial Day mean to me?” starting 9:45 at Lytton Square followed by the parade at 10:30. FULL STORY.

MVHS’ ‘Walk Into History’ Returns, Digs Into Mt. Tam & Muir Woods Railway – May 29

MVHS officials say the planned ‘Walk Into History’ this year follows the route of the Mt. Tam and Muir Woods Scenic Railway (also called the Mountain Railway) from the Depot to the trailhead at the northern end of Blithedale Canyon. FULL STORY.
