New Mayor Urban Carmel Gives a Dazzling, Inspiring Speech About the Power of Community Service
In his first City Council hearing since he became mayor, Councilmember Urban Carmel sought to answer a question he’s often asked: why would you want to be in public service? His answer: “It’s the people. The HVCA is embarking on a renovation of the gardens between Montford and the meadow to increase awareness of using native plants to mitigate the impacts associated with climate change.
