Missouri’s Art Comes to Life at Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site on June 25-26, 2022

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Visit Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site from noon to 4 p.m. to explore the rich and colorful history of Missouri through the eyes of the state’s beloved artist, Thomas Hart Benton.

A scaled replica of the mural from the Missouri state capitol will be on site. On Sunday, June 26, site team members will bring the mural to life through the use of local artifacts related to the mural in a pop-up exhibit located near the Boone home.

When: Saturday, June 25 and Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 12 noon to 4 p.m.

Where: Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site is located at 7850 N. State Highway V in Ash Grove, northwest of Springfield. 

This event is family friendly and free to the public.
