Thankful For Her Team Of Experts and Pain-Free Shoulders

Sara Maxam is an active, retired speech therapist who moved to Midland to be near her daughter and grandchildren. Shortly after she moved, she began to have shoulder pain, to the point where even household chores caused discomfort, she was having trouble sleeping and her shoulders began aching during her daily walk.

She underwent a reverse shoulder replacement, performed by Orthopedic Surgeon Denise Stadelmaier, D.O., and is back to enjoying her hobbies like drawing and watercolor painting, pain free.

Is Bariatric Surgery Right For You?

Being overweight can make it difficult to exercise and can lead to a range of potentially dangerous health conditions such as diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure and depression. For those who have a history of struggling to lose weight, bariatric surgery may be an option to get back on a heathy track and allow you to live an active life.

Support Hospice Services with a Virtual Heart

During the month of February, we invite you to show your support for hospice services in the regions we serve. Your gift of any size provides support to patients served by MyMichigan Hospice and will help terminally ill individuals by providing comfort and care during the final months of life.

At MyMichigan, we offer both home hospice care and care at Woodland Hospice House, an alternative to home hospice care when individuals are no longer able or desire to remain in their own homes.

We invite you to join us in supporting hospice services for our patients. One hundred percent of your gift will be used to directly offset the cost of hospice care for patients seeking hospice services who otherwise cannot afford it.
