Fire Drill

Keeping our Members Safe

Friday, October 27 | 9:00 AM

The Y will have a Fire Drill on Friday, October 27 at 9:00 AM. Fire Drills require complete evacuation of the building. For the safety of everyone, please respond quickly to and follow the directions of Y staff members during the Fire Drill. Your cooperation is much appreciated and we apologize for any disruption this may cause.

Dante's Café Schedule Update

New Breakfast Offerings on Saturdays by EB222 Catering, LLC

Beginning this Saturday, October 28 at 8:00 AM, EB222 Catering, LLC will now offer breakfast on Saturday mornings in Dante's Café!

Specials, Saturday, October 28:

10% off all smoothies

Breakfast Burrito: Scrambled eggs, applewood bacon, yellow cheddar, avocado, and pico de gallo.

Smoked Salmon Toast: Smoked salmon and chive onion cream cheese on multigrain toast, topped with arugula, cucumbers, red onions, dill, and olive oil.

Breakfast Protein Bowl: 2 eggs, herb quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, avocado, and fresh spinach topped with pico de gallo and chipotle aioli.

Lighthouse Support Group at the New Canaan YMCA

Monday, November 6 | 2:45-4:00 PM

Join us for the Lighthouse LGBTQ Youth Group by Kids in Crisis here at the New Canaan YMCA! Lighthouse is a social support group for LGBTQ+ teens and allies in grades 6-12 and meets monthly.

Check-in at the Y's Member Services Desk Y membership is not needed, open to youth in any town!

Ultimate Frisbee Clinics

Free Clinics for Grades 5-8

November 16 & 17 | 5:00-6:00 PM

Ultimate Frisbee is a sport that inspires players and fans alike because of its ability to develop and showcase the athleticism, skill, teamwork, and character of its participants.

The arc of the disc in flight, the opportunity for everyone to contribute equally to their team’s success, and the trust given to each player to know and uphold the rules make ultimate a sport that is embraced for its fun and excitement on the field and for the community beyond it.

Ultimate provides a format that builds communication and conflict resolution skills, as well as a welcoming, high-value experience for players and fans from a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences.

Ultimate Frisbee Clinics (Grades 5-8)

Calling All Middle Schoolers!

Fall Programs & Activities for Grades 5-8

Saturday, November 4; 6:30-9:00 PM

Middle School Night (Grades 5-8)

One Saturday a month middle schoolers get the Y all to themselves! Have fun in the Wellness Center, Group Ex Center, Basketball Gym, Valles Pool, and Wagner Room. Not only will there be plenty of fun games and activities, but also a concession stand with snacks, drinks, and pizza.
