Member Spotlight: Marcus Smith, Owner of Moooves, Inc.

Marcus Smith is a Delaware native with a passion for connecting people within the community. Graduating from Delaware a state University in 2015 with a degree in Mass Communications. His professional background is in the marketing and communications field and spends much of his free time with family and friends. 

Currently, Marcus is the Founder and CEO of Moooves, Inc., a social media platform that will revolutionize the event management and ticketing industries. Using Web3 technologies such as blockchain, NFT, mixed reality, and cryptocurrency, He has created a platform that will change the way that we view "social currency". As we celebrate Black History Month, the Delaware Navigator Program, Delaware Small Business Development Center, SBA, and Delaware Black Chamber of Commerce are excited to announce a series of panel discussions on Black Business Excellence in the First State! hear from successful entrepreneurs and business leaders in our community, and learn about the challenges and opportunities facing black-owned businesses. Learn more.

2023 UD Supplier Diversity Conference

The goal of the conference is to foster mutually beneficial relationships that add value to the University, while also contributing to the development of diverse businesses in partnership with Procurement Services and the Small Business Development Center. There will be opportunities for networking and one-on-one meetings with suppliers and with UD purchasing staff. Learn more.
