We ‘ve had a few successful years with our Union 38 Girls Field Hockey Team. However, since there are only 20 uniforms, we will have a tryout this year to fill those spots.

Practices will be held twice a week at Frontier, Games are with teams from Hampden/Hampshire Counties. We will also be participating in games on the weekends. These are real games with real referees.

We will supply shirts, kilts, and socks. Shirts and kilts must be returned at the end of the season. We also have sticks and shin guards available. Parents must supply spandex shorts navy/black and a mouthguard.

Who: Grades 4-6 for the 2022-2023 schoolyear – Union 38 students from Conway, Deerfield, Sunderland & Whately
When: August 22 & 23
Time: 8-10 a.m.
Where: Frontier Field Hockey Field , near the baseball field behind the school
Cost: $100.00 payable after team selection

Players must bring their own equipment, water bottle and hand sanitizer Rental Equipment is available by contacting the Recreation Office.
