New Restaurant Alert: The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Opens First Tampa Restaurant

TAMPA, FL (March 27, 2024) –  The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill® is bringing fresh Mediterranean flavor to Tampa’s Carrollwood-area. The popular fast-casual restaurant recently made its Tampa debut at 12817 N Dale Mabry Hwy in the Mission Bell shopping center. The restaurant is a family-run franchise owned and operated by Ed and Fatimeh Barrie with the support of their children.

 

To commemorate the opening, the restaurant will host a grand opening celebration from March 27-29: 

  • Wednesday, March 27Fundraiser benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay where 25 percent of the proceeds from sales for the day will be donated to support its mission of providing life-enhancing programs to enable and motivate all youth within a safe environment to reach their full potential.

  • Thursday, March 28 – Guests can enjoy live music starting at 5 p.m. and will receive a free dessert with the purchase of an entrée.

  • Friday, March 29 – From 5-7 p.m., locals are invited to experience family night where kids eat free with the purchase of an entrée.

 

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is an award-winning restaurant concept whose menu offers modern interpretations of Mediterranean favorites served in an elevated fast-casual atmosphere. Guests can enjoy classic dishes like the Great Greek Gyro as well as Lamb, Steak and Chicken Souvlaki Plates that are complemented by the restaurant’s fresh Greek salads and four signature house-made dips, including Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).
