Decorative Arts Tour

Historic Annapolis is proud to possess a fine decorative arts collection. A traditional tour of the William Paca House offers peeks at some of these objects, but do you want to know more? Come learn about our John Shaw pieces, Faris silver, and other decorative elements that span the house. You may even discover hidden chambers and features of the furniture along the way!

Reservations required.
Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: 6:30 pm - 8 pm

Cost: $20 for HA Members and Volunteers; $25 General Admission

Paint and Picnic in Paca's Garden
   
Summer Camp Art in the Garden

Join us for a family-friendly event in the William Paca Garden! Have your little ones try their hand at plein air painting, which allows them to capture the beauty of our garden while immersed in their surroundings. Bring your own picnic and enjoy an open-air lunch on the terrace with family and friends. For a sweet treat, an ice cream social will help you beat the heat!
Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: Doors will open at 11 am; guided painting session will begin at 11:30 am. Ice cream will be available for purchase beginning at 12:30 pm.

Cost:
Picnic - Free and open to the public.
Painting - $10 per participant for Family Circle Members; $15 per participant for General Admission. Supplies and instruction will be provided.
Ice Cream - Free for Family Circle Members; $5 per person for General Admission.

HA Happy Hour: Secrets, Spirits, and Spies: Espionage in the Garden
   
HA once again welcomes guests into the beautiful William Paca Garden after hours for delicious drinks, snacks, and fun.  August's theme is Secrets, Spirits, and Spies: Espion
age in the Garden.

Someone is keeping secrets in Annapolis!  Enter the world of colonial espionage at this month's HA Happy Hour. Explore the various ways colonial spies passed sensitive information. Your mission, should you choose to accept it: decipher the codes and expose the Master Spy, while enjoying a few drinks. Secrets and spirits, what could go wrong?

Cash bar available. 21 and over only.

Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: 5 pm - 7 pm

Cost: $12 for HA Members and Volunteers; $15 General Admission

Summer Family Program: Rainbows in the Garden

Is it possible to plant a rainbow? In this new family program presented by Watermark Tours and HA, children (ages 3-6) can find out when we read Planting a Rainbow. Make crafts, sing songs, and explore the William Paca Garden. Included in your ticket is a 40-minute ride on the Harbor Queen. Look for colors of the Bay and other cheerful scenery along the water as you cruise the Annapolis Harbor.

Advanced reservations required.

Location: Check-in is at 10:30 am at the William Paca House & Garden at 186 Prince George Street.

Time: 10 am - 11:30 am (Rainbows in the Garden). Cruises depart at 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm & 4 pm.

Cost: $22 for Adults; $14 for Children 3-11; Free for Children 2 and under
