Nina McLemore visits Houston store December 2nd
Houston (November 23, 2015) Nina McLemore will make a personal appearance at her new Houston store on December 2nd and 3rd from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and be available for personal wardrobe consultations during that time. Additionally, customers are invited to celebrate the grand opening and meet Nina during a reception on Wednesday, December 2nd from 4 7 p.m. The River Oaks store, located at 1965 W. Gray Street in River Oaks opened November 2nd and is the 15th store. Nina was recently profiled in the Wall Street Journal and featured on Inside Edition for dressing high profile women such as Ellen Kullman, CEO of DuPont, Janet Yellen Chair of the Federal Reserve and Gwen Ifill, PBS Journalist.
Nina designs a well-tailored wardrobe for both professional women and the "community professional" woman who serve on boards, travels and is active in social events. She cuts for all body types with flattering colors and styles in sizes ranging from a petite 00 to an 18. The collection includes suitings, better casual and evening, and is separates oriented. The fabrics are made with natural fibers including cotton from Switzerland, exotic hand woven silks from India and fine wools and tweeds from Italy and Scotland. Many of the fabrics are also designed by Nina.
"I am excited to have the opportunity to personally assist our Houston clients. My colors, styles and fabrics are based on my Southern roots and are suited for the busy Houston woman the major hub of the South." says Nina. "It feels like coming home."
"She's my best kept secret. Her comfortable and classic designs are perfect for extended business trips, and public speaking. In fact, my favorite Nina jacket is my signature in my publicity photos," says Connie Glaser, bestselling author and columnist.
The Houston location features a collection of luxurious fabrics that are expertly crafted in New York. Nina designs with a focus on quality, taste, attention to detail and her knowledge of a woman's lifestyle and needs. Jackets are well priced between $575 and $975 and pants at $295 - $395. The quality is designer level while the prices are significantly less.
Prominent women that wear Nina's designs include: "Yum" Arnold, CEO of Leapfrog; Beverly Tatum, President of Spellman College; Elizabeth Kiss, President of Agnes Scott College; and Babette Henagan, Founder of Linx Partners. Honored in 2013 as "influential, powerful and trailblazing" by the Washington Business Journal's Women Who Mean Business, McLemore delivers on her goal to provide beautiful clothing appropriate for busy executive women.
"She doesn't seek fashion editors' attention with runway shows, offer free clothes to celebrities, or pursue the clients who court the best-dressed lists. Instead, she produces a stream of timeless jackets, knee-length skirts, and slacks in road-worthy luxury fabrics and styles that are never revealing." Christina Binkely of the Wall Street Journal.
