After 70 Days, Nella Gives Her First Interview

Albuquerque- 70 days into her campaign for the U.S. Senate, No-Answer Nella finally gave her first interview to Artesia radio station KSVP Wednesday, where she refused to say where she stands on key issues yet lamented the struggles of CEO’s and highlighted her time in East Coast boardrooms. In a Rio Grande Sun article that covered her trip to Artesia, Nella refused to give direct answers when asked about her stance on abortion and attitude toward Trump.

“New Mexicans deserve better than a candidate who won’t actually state her positions on the most important issues impacting the people of our state,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia. “No-Answer Nella can hide behind her dangerous and extreme views all she wants — we trust that New Mexicans will see her for who she really is.”

Nella’s been silent on the Republican efforts to outlaw Mifepristone and has shown an extreme personal stance on abortion, but twice refused to answer direct questions about abortion from the Rio Grande Sun, both times saying her plan would be to “reduce abortions.” Nella also cannot seem to make up her mind whether or not she supports Trump. As the top of the Republican ticket in New Mexico, Nella may find it difficult to earn the support of the MAGA base if she cannot even commit to supporting their presidential nominee.

However, Nella did make it clear that she has limited familiarity with New Mexico and spent the vast majority of her life elsewhere. In the KSVP interview, she admits that she has only ever been to the southeastern part of our state twice, despite claiming to be a New Mexican. The Rio Grande Sun pointed out that Nella left the state at twelve years old, not to move back until years later to run for New Mexico’s Senate seat.
