Known for dodging press questions and canceling interviews, GOP candidate’s refusal to talk about Trump raises questions about her values

Nella Domenici - multimillionaire former hedge fund executive and Donald Trump’s hand-picked GOP recruit for Senate who has a pattern of avoiding press and canceling interviews to avoid answering “legitimate” questions she doesn’t like—continues to stick her head in the sand and refuse to talk about former president Donald Trump, even as his behavior becomes more unhinged, erratic and blatantly racist.

Donald Trump is the leader of the national Republican Party, and New Mexicans deserve to hear from GOP candidate Nella Domenici whether or not she agrees with his behavior and his (lack of) values.

But No-Answer Nella continues to get away with avoiding tough questions, like:

• Do you condone Donald Trump’s racist lies and attacks on Vice President Harris’s racial identity?

• Do you agree with Trump’s Vice Presidential nominee J.D. Vance that women should stay in violent marriages, and that rape is “inconvenient?”

• Is Donald Trump guilty of the 34 felonies he was convicted of?

• Did you vote for Donald Trump in 2016 and/or 2020?

• Was Joe Biden legitimately elected president of the United States?

“By refusing to answer basic questions about Donald Trump’s dangerous rhetoric and extreme positions, Nella Domenici is showing New Mexicans exactly who she stands with—and it’s not the people of this state,” said Democratic Party of New Mexico Spokesperson Daniel Garcia.
