Call for nominations

Nominate someone who works for the promotion and acceptance of diversity in Tempe for an MLK Diversity Award.

The MLK Diversity Awards honor people who demonstrate a commitment to diversity, inclusion and who exemplify the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. This year's program honors people and organizations, including students, who work to make Dr. King's dream a reality.

There are categories for adults, youth, businesses, education leaders, community groups and more. It takes just a few minutes to nominate someone for one of Tempe’s top honors. More information is available at tempe.gov/MLK.

Winners will be recognized at the annual MLK Diversity Awards Breakfast held on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at The Buttes, Marriott Phoenix Resort, 2000 W. Westcourt Way. The MLK Diversity Awards are hosted by the City of Tempe and the Human Relations Commission.
