Ocean County Library Little Egg Harbor Branch
Seeks Seasonal Teen Program Coordinators
The Ocean County Library Little Egg Harbor Branch is accepting applications through Friday, May 12, from those 18 years and older who wish to serve as summer coordinators in the Ocean County Library’s Service and Achievement in the Library (S.A.I.L.) Program.

The paid, temporary S.A.I.L. Coordinator position is open to teens in Ocean, Monmouth, and Burlington Counties. It begins Thursday, June 15, and ends Thursday, August 17.

S.A.I.L. Coordinators are responsible for oversight of the teen summer volunteer program, which provides support for activities at host Library branches.

Qualified candidates are at least 18 years of age, work productively with other teens and with children, communicate clearly and effectively, show proficiency in basic computer programs, have multi-tasking skills, and agree to a criminal background check.

The S.A.I.L. Coordinator position offers the chance to become familiar with Ocean County Library operations, and is especially ideal for applicants who plan to pursue Library Science degrees or seek careers in the library field.
