Nature, Peace & Holiday Cheer!  
Join us for our annual Holiday Open House, Fresh Evergreen Swag Sale & Local Artisan Fair — Free Admission for All!

Friday, Dec. 1, 9-5 -and- Saturday, Dec. 2, 9-4
The elves have been BUSY!  Shop new treasures in the Nest Gift Shop both days.  We are hosting local artisans, a bake sale, a make-and-take nature craft for children, complimentary gift wrapping, and hot drinks.

The Nest is freshly stocked with brand new items for nature lovers and neighbors!

Members Only Night! - Thursday, Nov. 30, 6-8 pm

Cup Hop - Lucky Ladybug Mug
The Cup Hop rolls into week 2!  For a $20 donation you will receive a cute and collectible Ogden Nature Center ladybug mug, filled (on the day of purchase only) with your fav hot bevie.  The mugs will be available on these dates and at these locations only, while they last!

Knee-High Naturalists:
Plants & Animals Prepare for Winter
for ages 3-5 (w/accompanying adult)
Choose a date and time:
- November 21st at 1 pm
- November 22nd at 10 am
- December 19th at 10 am or 1 pm
- December 20th at 10 am
Migrate through nature in autumn and find out how our feathered friends generate energy during the cold winter months.  Visit the bear den and get a feel for hibernation. Please call 801-621-7595 to pre-register.  Registration is required.
Per child/adult pair: $10 ONC members / $12 non-members  / $8 per participant for groups of 5 or more

Your gift will help us build new mew roofs for the birds of prey at the Ogden Nature Center - specifically the owls, hawks and corvids. Help provide safety and shelter for our precious animal ambassadors.

A one-year family membership gives you all the benefits of a membership, while providing support for the Nature Center's mission: to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.

- Feed the Birds

Those exquisite feathers take serious nourishment!  Help feed ten meat eating raptors and two curious corvids. They’ll coo for you the next time you visit! 

- Land Stewardship

Open space is good for the soul!  And your gift will ensure our trails and preserve are ecologically sound and cared for.  Help care for this 152-acre nature preserve -- a special place for our entire community.

Make Your Own Holiday Swag Workshop - ages 16+

Saturday, December 9th / 10 am

$45 ONC members / $55 non-members

We’ll provide greenery, ribbon, baubles and tools, and help you make the perfect holiday door decoration.  Feel free to bring ay special ribbon or decor of your own.  Please register by December 2nd.

Romping with Rabbits - ages 9+

Friday, December 15th / 4 pm

$5 for ONC members, $8 for nonmembers

Jackrabbits, cottontails, and hares, oh my! Have you ever wondered how far a bunny can actually jump? Why are their noses always wiggling? What’s the difference between your pet bunny and wild bunnies? In this workshop you’ll learn about rabbits and their cousins pikas, hares, and cottontails and make a fun bunny craft. Please register by December 8th.
