This coming-of-age film, written and directed by Kenneth Branagh, follows a young boy's childhood in Belfast, Northern Ireland, at the beginning of The Troubles in 1969.

Pronunciator offers language learning for the whole family online! You can learn over 160 languages, with courses available in English as well as 140+ other languages.

On first use, you will need your PPLC library card. Then you will create a username & password that you will use to log in afterwards.

Pronunciator has a mobile friendly website in lieu of an app at https://www.pronunciator.com/app/ which works in any updated browser. There's nothing to download, and of course it's all FREE!

Tumblebooks offers an online collection of animated, talking picture books for kids. Look for it in the Children's Online Resources section of our Children's page

No limits on checkouts and it includes books in French & Spanish for language learning!
