Engage with your Workforce Board and Market Makers to learn how to participate in workforce programs and access available funding. The goal is to help connect employers to new and existing workforce supports from the Commonwealth.

The program will include a Regional Breakout Session to meet local Market Makers and Workforce Boards along with an overview of Commonwealth workforce resources for employers.

The virtual FutureSkills Roadshow is presented by the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development, the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development, MassHire, and the Commonwealth Corporation.

J-1 Employers, Social Security is coming to Snow Library

J-1 students can skip the trip to Hyannis because Social Security number processing is coming to Snow Library in Orleans tomorrow!

Light Up in 2022

For 2021, the Orleans Improvement Association funded an expanded lighting display that linked the Village Green and Depot Square with lights in large trees along Main Street. OIA hired Dick Ficco, a professional lighting contractor, to supplement the OIA’s various “light sculptures” and snowflakes.
