A LORD OF A RING IN A SUITCASE
Join the Bay Area’s favorite fictional traveling troupe, The Peripatetic Players, as they courageously attempt to enact J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy all out of suitcases!

FIRST PARTNER SUMMER BOOK CLUB
The First Partner’s Summer Book Club is a 9-week initiative to promote children’s literacy and participation in summer reading programs hosted by local libraries throughout the state.

CAMP NANOWRIMO WRITE-IN DAYS
Camp NaNoWriMo challenges participants to finish a 50,000 word novel in one month. On these write-in days, participants can continue working on their novels, get feedback provided, or simply borrow materials.

CAMP NANOWRIMO FINALE
In our final workshop, participants will finish up their novels and hear from author Maggie Tokuda-Hall and help answer that all-important question: I just finished a novel! What's next?

HOW TO DRAW COMICS WITH ARTIST OLIVER CHIN
Join comic book artist Oliver Chin as he teaches students how to create their own comic book, as well as discuss some of the history of manga and anime.

CAMPFIRE STORIES
Make smores by the campfire, and listen to some scary and not-so-scary stories after dark. Program will take place at the Alviso Adobe at dusk, weather permitting.
