Cider Hill is celebrating all things bees, butterflies, birds, bats and ladybugs! Help us show some love to creatures essential to our food supply! This week long event features a full line up of FUN happenings with live music, interactive pollinator wing installation, tastings, hands-on family-friendly activities, meet the beekeepers, hayrides, specials and workshops. Here's what's scheduled (subject to change):

Monday June 19, 2023

10:00am-12:00pm: Meet Savory Lane Tour Company.
11:00am-2:00pm: Tres Latinas Food Truck.
11:00am-4:00pm: Outdoor Hard Cider Bar.
12:00pm-3:00pm: Free Live Music on the Main Lawn with Joe Wilkins.
Multiple sessions: Charcuterie & Honey. DIY Charcuterie Workshop with the Nosh Box.

Tuesday June 20, 2023

10:00am-10:45am: Bee, Butterfly & Bat Stories with Amesbury Public Library.
Stories about bees, butterflies, birds, moths, bats or even small mammals that help carry pollen. Free. Registration suggested

11:00am: Seed Paper Making Workshop.
Join Mindy Paper Co. for a 40 minute hands-on session learning to make hand-made seed paper to plant in your garden. $5 per child or $10 per family.

9:30am-11:30 am: Coffee, Honey & Bees… Yes, Please!  
Bees play an important role when it comes to coffee acting as a pollination booster. Cider Hill Farm and our friends at Kaha Coffee Roasters are joining forces to honor our essential pollinators with free samples of locally roasted coffee and honey. FREE. No registration required.

Wednesday June 21, 2023

9:30am-12:30pm: Farm Tots. Crop tour and planting activity with Farmer Val - Free. Sold Out.

12:00pm-2:00pm: Anatomy of a Bee Hive. Cider Hill Farm's favorite homesteading beekeeper is sharing her incredible knowledge. Visit her in front of the farm store - Free.
Pollinator Jam Tasting. Without pollinators, we wouldn't have fruit. And without fruit, we wouldn't have jam! Come try some. Free.

11:00am-3:00pm: Sustainable Seas. Ipswich's Eclectic Clam Co. will be on the farm sharing samples and information about the value of eating local food.

Thursday June 22, 2023

9:00am and 10:30am: Build a Butterfly Bath. Discovery Day Program sessions
Senior Center BBQ. Register with Amesbury's Council on Aging.

Friday June 23, 2023

8:00am-6:00pm: Pollinator Themed Scavenger Hunt & Obstacle Course - Free.

Saturday June 24, 2023

10:00am-12:00pm: Plant a Mini Pollinator Garden.
Without pollinators like hummingbirds, butterflies, moths, bees, flies and beetles, we will have less food to eat. Come create a small pot for your own yard to show our pollinators some LOVE to provide them the essential food supply they need! $4. Profits go to Essex County Beekeepers Association. No registration required.

10:00am-12:00pm: Roll Honeycomb Candles & Meet the Beekeepers.
Join Essex County Beekeepers Association (ECBA) to learn about beehives and roll a bee's wax candle to take home. Free. While supplies last.

10:00am-12:00pm: Bee & Butterfly Mask Making.
