Tomorrow marks the beginning of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month! Join the Library and many other community organizations at Northside Aztlan Center for a Community Celebration of this special month this Sunday, Sept. 18 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM. 

Cada año se observa el mes de la herencia hispana y latina (15 de septiembre - 15 de octubre) para celebrar las culturas, contribuciones, historias y logros de millones de hispanos y latinos que, durante los siglos, han ayudado a definir y construir los Estados Unidos. Sé parte de esta conmemoración y acompáñanos en una celebración comunitaria llena de música, baile, arte, historias, comida ¡y mucho más! ¡Nos vemos allí! Domingo, 18 de septiembre, Northside Atzlan Community Center, 2:00 – 6:00PM.

Antarctic Lecture Series

Abby Jackson, will discuss impacts of COVID-19 on Antarctic fieldwork and the unexpected opportunities it brought when she spent four months servicing stream gauges and collecting soil samples in Antarctica. Registration Required.

Get Your Warrant Cleared Without Getting Arrested
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Old Town Library, Study Room A

Colorado Public Defender's Office, the Larimer County Court, and Fort Collins Municipal Court will be onsite to help expedite the warrant process for people with outstanding warrants for eligible minor/non-violent offenses. Click here for more information. Spanish translation will be available.

The Scoop: NoCo Community Conversations

Each month, the community is invited to "take the pulse" of the Northern Colorado community by discussing local issues like affordable housing and elections. Participants will also enjoy guest visits by local journalists and community influencers. Registration Required. 

History Comes Alive: El Vaquero, America's First Cowboy

Learn about El Vaquero in this living history show performed by Angel Vigil. El Vaquero's story shows the origins and development of traditional cowboy practices in the American West.  

Book Club for Mortals
