Even Republicans are confused where Mike Rogers actually lives…
LANSING — Mike Rogers is running for Senate in… Florida? According to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, that’s the case. Guess this shouldn’t come as a surprise, given that Rogers abandoned Michigan nearly a decade ago and owns a 4,751-square-foot, $1.7 million Cape Coral mansion that “was his official residence until his decision to run for U.S. Senate.”
Rogers received a “$50,000 homestead tax exemption on the [Florida] property for 2022,” and he has not had a house in Michigan for the majority of his campaign.
