October brings a fresh slate of programs and services for you. In addition, the library will be open Sundays beginning next week and running from October through May. Sunday hours are 1:00-5:00pm. You are welcome to drop in to pick up your holds, explore our collections, read or study,. We look forward to seeing you!

Here are some highlights:

The Who, What, Where series for kids in grades 3-5 begins this week with Who Are Astronomers? and continues in October with What is Magic?

On October 4 you are invited to Take a Dip with Lisa Fipps, the author of Starfish. Submit questions when you register and find copies of this Community Read title around town in book boxes or at the library.

Wellness Wednesdays, office hours with Reading's Public Safety Clinician Taunya L. Jarzyniecki, run all month beginning October 5.

Wondering if your office space is arranged correctly? Register for Ergonomics at Work: The Importance of Proper Posture to learn how simple changes to your setup can help.

Mark your calendar for October 15 -- a special Saturday storytime with author Carrie Finison, reading Dozens of Doughnuts!

It wouldn't be October without Trick or Treat events! There's Trick or Treat Storytime for kids through age 5 and Scary Stories for kids 7 years+.

Special thanks to the Friends of the Reading Public Library for sponsoring many of our programs!
