Readington Brewery and Hop Farm invites you to our Second Oktoberfest! Admission is FREE (so is parking). We are opening early both days at 11am to maximize the day. We will not allow any outside food or beverages (including non-alcoholic) this weekend. There will be multiple food vendors with something for everyone and non-alcoholic craft soda on draught inside. We will have bottled water for sale and multiple water stations throughout the property. No coolers or pop-up tents are permitted unless you rent a platz (scroll down for details). If you rent a platz, you may bring your own food. Readington Brewery will check bags upon entry. We will have a drink ticket system this year, cash or card is accepted -but cash is faster. Readington Brewery & Hop Farm is a family & dog-friendly venue. Children MUST be with their grown up at ALL times.

Day 1 (Saturday, October 7, 2023)
11am | Readington Brewery Opens ; Vendors open on the Hop Farm
12-3pm | Traditional German Music from the Silver Starlight Orchestra
1:30 | Men’s & Women’s Steinholding Competition
– the winner will qualify for States
– register at the merch tent by 1:10pm to participate
– $10 fee to compete (cash and card accepted).
– You will receive a “registered contestant” pass upon registration
– Registered Contestants should report to the porch at 1:25 for the moment of truth.
3pm | Goat Race at the Goat Pen
3:45 | German Attire Contest (line up in front of the band stage to be considered)
4-7pm | CC Coletti Band takes the stage (rock, soul, R&B, and more!)
6pm | Fire pits on the patio
9:30pm | Last call
10pm | RB closes for the day

Day 2 (Sunday, October 8, 2023)
11am | Readington Brewery Opens ; Vendors open on the Hop Farm
12-3pm | Traditional German Music from the Silver Starlight Orchestra
12-3pm | Pony Rides
– with Sunny Meadow Farm
– cash and card accepted
3:45 | German Attire Contest (line up in front of the band stage by 3:40 to be considered)
4-7pm | Live Music with Three Piece Nugget (rock, pop, and more!)
5pm | Fire pits on the patio
7:30pm | Last call
8pm | RB closes for the day

Want your own personal reserved area at the event to share with friends and family? Rent a Platz!
-- The platz are predetermined 10×10 plots of land inside the fence (with about 5ft between each platz)
-- Platz owners may bring a tent, tables, chairs, blankets, etc. to furnish their platz. Only platz owners may set up tents.
-- You must come in person to Readington Brewery to claim your platz in advance and put down your deposit. Go to the bar and ask to see the map of which platzs are available each day. After deciding which day and platz you would like to reserve, you must pay your deposit ($100 cash or check) in full to officially reserve it.
-- Upon receiving the deposit, we will issue you a “Platz Deed” that serves as proof of purchase/ownership. Please bring your deed to the event as proof of Platz ownership.
-- You may call ahead to check availability (908) 237-3867, but you may not hold or secure a platz over the phone. We do not hold platz without deposits down.
-- The deposit/platz is refundable through September 15. There will be no refunds after September 15th.
-- No sternos, open fires, speakers, or outside beverages are permitted. Readington Brewery reserves the right to adjust platz regulations prior and during the event.
