Rep. Barry Moore Questions Biden Administration's Executive Overreach

Washington, D.C. — Last week, Rep. Barry Moore joined the Republican Leader of the Agriculture committee in sending a letter to U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Tom Vilsack questioning the Biden Administration’s overreaching executive actions. Every Republican member on the Agriculture committee also joined the letter.

"The Biden Administration continues to disappoint by using authority it does not have to advance policies the American people do not support," said Moore.

"When I am traveling around my district talking to constituents, not a single one ever asks for more spending on Green New deal policies. The Biden Administration needs to leave the policymaking up to the American people and the congressional representation they chose."

In the letter, the Members write, “As you are aware, a recent Supreme Court decision, West Virginia v. EPA, clarified the limitations of certain agency action. Given this administration's concerning reliance on executive actions to advance some of its most radical priorities, we are compelled to underscore the implications of West Virginia v.
