Rep. Zeldin Hosts Telephone Town Hall for NY-1 Constituents
PATCHOGUE, NY - On Thursday, September 8, 2022, Congressman Lee Zeldin (R, NY-1) hosted a Telephone Town Hall with constituents from the First Congressional District to answer questions and address concerns about the issues affecting their daily lives. The topics covered during the town hall included energy prices, cashless bail and rising crime in New York, inflation, the effects of COVID policies on education, and much more.
“Listening to my constituents’ questions and insight is such an important part of my job. Throughout my four terms in Congress, I have always made it a top priority to frequently travel all across the First District and interact with my constituents and gain their perspectives. Telephone Town Halls have always served as a productive platform for conversations with Long Islanders about the important issues facing our communities and our country and how I can best represent them, and last night’s event was no different,” said Congressman Zeldin.
